
Telecom Santaline Microsite
Brief
Santaline is a free service provided each year by Telecom that allows children to contact Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas. The main point of contact is through phone calls (0800 222 222) and an online submission form. TCN were engaged to create a simple microsite to convey the key details around the Telecom Santaline and the Telecom's Tree Installation (an actual tree which children can visit to 'ring' Santa to wish for a specific present) and encourage people to either call or email Santa Free, and tell him what gifts they want.
Solution
With little or no collateral for reference TCN created the microsite and respective assets from scratch, designing and building the site with partners, Doubleclique, inside five working days, and then supplying the first wishlist extract from the site's databse to Telecom a week after going live; the volume of which demonstated the power of the clients idea, and the effectiveness of thesite in encouraging interaction.
